Terms of Service
Last updated: January 2026. Effective immediately.
1. Platform Role
KneadIt (a Kgusiame Group product) is a marketplace platform that connects independent massage therapists with clients. KneadIt is not a party to any service agreement between a client and a therapist. The actual massage service is provided by the therapist, not by KneadIt.
By using KneadIt, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
2. Therapist Obligations
All therapists listed on KneadIt agree to:
- Provide accurate information about qualifications, experience, and services offered
- Submit a valid South African ID for verification
- Maintain current and valid professional qualifications
- Conduct themselves professionally at all times
- Complete safety check-ins for mobile appointments
- Not solicit clients to book outside of the KneadIt platform
- Comply with all applicable health and safety regulations
3. Client Obligations
All clients using KneadIt agree to:
- Provide accurate personal information including a valid South African ID
- Treat therapists with respect and dignity at all times
- Be present at the agreed location and time for mobile bookings
- Pay cancellation fees where applicable
- Not record therapists without consent
- Not request or solicit services beyond the agreed treatment
4. Safety Policy
Zero Tolerance for Harassment
KneadIt operates a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, inappropriate behaviour, or requests for sexual services. Any user found in violation will have their account immediately suspended pending investigation, and may be permanently banned. Reports may be forwarded to SAPS where appropriate.
5. Payment Terms
- KneadIt charges an 8% platform commission on all completed bookings
- Therapists receive 92% of the booking fee, paid out on a weekly cycle
- Monthly subscription billing applies to therapist plans (Solo R199, Studio R499, Enterprise R999)
- All payments are processed securely by Paystack
- KneadIt does not store payment card details
6. Cancellation Policy

7. Limitation of Liability
KneadIt facilitates connections between clients and therapists but does not guarantee the quality, safety, or outcome of any massage service. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KneadIt is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform or services booked through it.
8. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
9. Changes to These Terms
KneadIt reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email.
